Tips for JUNE:

1) Review your coverage after seasonal changes

• If you changed vehicles, drivers, or usage (more miles, road trips), update your auto policy.

• If you added items for summer (camping gear, bikes, grills), check personal property limits and whether they’re covered.

2) Check home & renters risks common in summer

• Smoke/heat: Test/replace batteries in smoke & CO detectors.

• Storm prep: Make sure you know what to do for wind/hail/water damage—review coverage for flooding vs. “standard” water damage (often different).

• Outdoor items: Inventory or photos of patio furniture, tools, bicycles, lawn equipment help with claims.

• Know your deductible amounts and how they apply (per claim vs. per occurrence).

• Keep documents handy: policy number, insurer contacts, photos of valuables, receipts for major purchases.
